We take the headaches of shipping away from our customers by delivering on promises, getting the goods to their destination safely, on time and in the same condition as when they were picked up. We make our customers look good to their customers. We think through our customers' shipping needs to arrive at the most efficient and cost effective way of meeting those needs. We look for opportunities to consolidate, minimize cross-docking, etc. We are on the PARS pre-approval program with Canadian and US Customs, ensuring minimum delays and problems at the border.
Our drivers are extremely experienced and highly skilled. Some drivers have been with SST for 38 years, 30 years, 28 years, 17 years, and 15 years. Drivers regularly attend external safety and other courses. Our policy is to hire drivers with at least two years previous driving experience and a clean driving record.
Our accident record is excellent. We have never been involved in a highway accident.
SST uses MAVES software which is a transport industry software. MAVES main strength is warehousing and logistics.
